If you need to say sorry to your girlfriend or a wife by taking her out to a nice dining place but cannot spend a fortune (without looking like a cheapskate), Blue on Blue located inside the Avalon Hotel is the place for you.
Its décor will wow any girl and its friendly/courteous staff will make anyone feel welcome. The dining area is either pool-side or cabanas and either one’s perfect for whatever the occasion is. Another perks for this place, of course is the food, while being very decently priced, the quality of the food is excellent. You are also likely to spot a celebrity (if you’re into that sorts of things)

A good burger is hard to find these days. Since everyone is trying to be conscious about their weight and health, just about anywhere we go, there are substitutions for a juicy meaty burger/dog/etc (Pink’s have a veggie dog, what in the world?). if you’re sick and tired of these fake and substitution style burgers, Apple Pan is the place for you.
Located on 10801 W Pico Blvd (Pico and Glendon), Apple Pan is known for their simplicity. The joint itself consists of a U-shaped counter surrounding the central food area. Their menu is simple and filled with classic favorites to remind you of the golden era of burgers.

If you’re sick and tired of the rubbery and fake taste of Domino’s and Pizza Hut’s mass produced dough they call pizza, you should do yourself a favor and drive to 3rd and Larchmont. You will find the small pizzeria named Village where the kitchen is always cooking and the workers are running.
Surprisingly enough, the great taste of Village Pizzeria comes from the simple things, such as real tomato sauce, real vegetables, real meat, and hand-made dough. Some of fan favorites are cheese pizza, margarita, neopolitan, and mushroom & sausage pizzas. Another treat of the place is their crust. It is thin yet chewy enough to have flavor. Other dishes such as spaghetti, bread rolls, and calzones are adequately priced and flavorful enough as well.

Oki Dog or Oki’s Dog is located on Pico & S. Sycamore and I know it is definitely not the nicest or the safest area in Los Angeles County. There is always a line regardless of time or weather as well. Why then, am I recommending this place for y’all to eat? Because it will straight up give you the taste that you’ve never tasted before.

Dino's Chicken and Burger |
Located in mid-section of Downtown and Koreatown, Dino’s has become a popular spot for food connoisseurs and average Joes alike. Prepared with home-made secret marinate sauce, their special, Dino’s chicken plate is to die for. And another great thing about this place is that everything is under seven dollars, although I highly doubt anybody would be hungry after eating their meal because of their generous portion. Inside of the place isn’t big but enough to fit a hungry 15 to 30 adults and there is one outside seating available to fit 4-5 people (if you don’t mind being hassled by bums at night-time; but don’t worry, the owner will take care of you).

Prepared with fresh ingredients, guests will taste thoughtfulness in the hearty menu and gourmet desserts. The space may be modest inside, but the café boasts a crowd that cannot get enough!
