The Association of Christian Artists exhibited 33 members and 47 pieces of art displayed in Koreatown (Los Angeles). Magnificent and abstract paintings were shown with titles such as “Overcome”, “Rebirth”, and “The Manna of Heaven”.

Comfortable with Divorce? |
The saying, “they lived happily ever after” may not mean as much to America’s younger generations. The Barna Group recently conducted a survey among 5,017 random adults (18 years and older) for a one-year period ending January 2008. The findings show non-Evangelical born again Christians’ divorce rates as being identical to the national average. 33% of both parties show they have been married and had at least one divorce.

$101,000 Prize for Best Film |
San Antonio Independent Christian Film (SAICF), a project of Vision Forum Ministries has announced its largest cash prize of $101,000 for the winner of the “Best of Film Festival” feature film. Since its original prize amount had been ten times less, the news release surprised many. While the deadline for the submission of a feature film is November 1st, 2008, the winner is planned on being announced in January 2009.

Since 2004, Korean Church Coalition (KCC) for North Korea Freedom, has facilitated 38 prayer vigils in the US and South Korea on behalf of North Korean refugees in China. KCC is comprised of 3,000 Korean Pastors and millions of Korean Americans.
Recently on Tuesday, April 1, 48 KCC members, including businessmen, doctors, lawyers, and pastors, gathered at the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles to draw attention to the treatment of North Korean refugees and kick off a series of prayer

 Three Graces As the Pope plans a visit to the US from April 15-20 many youth are ready to party and rock on with some well-known music artists to honor the Pope’s presence.
The New York trio, “Three Graces”, Third Day, and TobyMac are among the contemporary Christian performers. TobyMac, the former CCN rap artist of “DC Talk” comments, “It's an honor to participate in this Papal visit. Not too many artists are given this opportunity. We have great respect for the work he does.”

Do you remember the last movie that moved you? So much, to the point that you told everyone you knew, “You have to see this film!” In a time where poignant storytelling has taken a backseat to the big Hollywood Blockbuster, stands a little movie that challenges the heart in a big way. This movie is called Bella. It doesn’t have spectacular effects, jaw-dropping cinematography, or dialogue and visuals that go for shock value. Instead, it offers a message of love, hope, and redemption with a healthy dose of simple truths and old-fashioned family values.
