Torn by war, with no proof of life. Every family has a story.

An estimated 100,000 Korean Americans have immediate family members in North Korea, divided during the Korean War. Every day that passes, more divided family members pass away without having seen their families. In the next 10-15 years, the stories of the divided family members will be lost forever. The Divided Families Film project has a threefold goal:

 

1. Document the story of first generation divided family members.

2. Raise awareness in our communities.

3. Mobilize support for formal mechanisms of family reunions.

 

With these lofty goals, DDF is hosting a Los Angeles Benefit Fundraiser with a fundraising target of $15,000.  Here are some detail on this event:

Entrance Fee: $25 - $30

Silent and Live Auctions will be held during the event.
