The Call Sacramento 2010

Image

September 3rd – September 4th

Lou Engle, Co-founder of The Call assemblies, is hosting another The Call conference in Sacramento from September 3rd to the 4th at Raley Field and Capitol Mall. In light of the changing political, societal, and economic climates in California, there is a need for every Christian to unite in prayer for this state and nation.

Anyone, young and old, with a strong desire to pray for California are encouraged to come to The Call and take part in the united effort to fast, pray, and worship. As it says in Psalm 50:5, 15, “Gather to Me my consecrated ones, who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice . . . call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you.”

Friday evening, which marks the 10th anniversary of The Call DC, will feature prophetic worship. It will be the time where the attendees will come together as one body in Christ and worship. On Saturday, there will be a Joel 2 Assembly, where the attendees will gather together for 12 hours of fasting, worship, prayer, and repentance for California. The price to attend this event (the 3rd, 4th, or both) is free; however, lodging must be provided on your own.

Raley Field (For the Friday Evening event) is located at 400 Ballpark Drive, West Sacramento, CA, 95691.
Capitol Mall (for the Saturday event) is located at Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814.

If you have a burden for this state and want to see revival, then The Call is a great opportunity to gather with other Christians with the same burdens and pray for California.

Title: God Loves All People
My husband and I will celebrate our 27th Anniversary tomorrow, the first day of the Call. He and I believe in love and we believe that all people's lives are made more whole by a true and lasting love, especially when that love is celebrated through marriage. That is why WE BELIEVE STRONGLY IN THE RIGHT OF ALL PEOPLE, GAY AND STRAIGHT, TO MARRY. It pains my soul to think of anybody calling my marriage to my beloved something awful, yet that is exactly what your campaign against marriage for all does. It takes something so beautiful and tries to humiliate and denigrate it. You should be encouraging commitment, not denying it to so many good and beautiful people. MARRIAGE EQUALITY FOR ALL!
