Crossway Community ChurchNested right in between the large Brea Mall and the redeveloped Brea Downtown, Crossway Community Church invites all people from different walks of life to come join their Sunday worship at the Brea Community Center.

Just a year ago, 50 adventurous men and women of God came together to plant Crossway Community Church in September of 2007. Pastor Steve Choi and his pastoral staff took a leap of faith and came together in prayer to plant this English-speaking, multi-cultural church in the heart of Orange County. Sarang Church acted as the right hand for Crossway, helping to commission and support the planting of this church.

Crossway yearns to bring together Christians who are prosperous and educated in order to make a worldwide impact. At the same time, their desire is to gather, train and produce Kingdom-minded men and women of God.

Their aim is to “accept and love all people regardless of life-stage, ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic background…and dream of being a church with a mission for all people groups.”

There are different ministries you can get involved in such as Stewardship, Intercession, Crossway Bookstore, Crossroad Youth Group, Crossway Café, and much more.

Take a look at the look at Crossway’s commitments below.

Kingdom Driven
We commit to see the big picture & play our role in the vast scheme of God's Kingdom. The church is the only organization that is concerned about its non-members. We will constantly seek and strategize to expand the Kingdom on 3 levels; local, regional, and global.

Transformation Through Discipleship

We commit to be "new" people, not "nice" people. The gospel is out not to reform people but to transform people. Churches that preach for behavioral reformation tend to elevate middle class values to the level of biblical norm and focus on external change. We will seek transformation at the motivational & character level, not merely behavioral modification.

Word-Centered Teaching / Preaching

We commit to center all of our teaching & preaching around God's word. The goal will be to communicate the timeless truths of the author's original intent to the congregation, not the preacher's or teacher's ideas.

Grace Motivated

We commit to motivate with grace, not guilt. We will not use guilt or fear to drive people into obedience. The motivation that comes from the Gospel sets us free to love & obey out of gratitude as a response to God's grace.

Christian Identity
We commit to value one's identity as a Christian over any cultural, socio-economic, age or gender. Though we will celebrate & recognize all different people & their cultures, we will not make the church into a place of any cultural preference or bias. Thus, we can be a church for all people.

We hope you can join us for church this Sunday. Our desire is to see all people come to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. We look forward to seeing you soon!
