1. Hometown? Cerritos, but now Pasadena, CA
2. Church and Role? EM Pastoral Intern and Children’s Pastoral Intern
3. School? California State University of Fullerton- BA in Business, Fuller Theological Seminary- Masters of Divinity and Masters in Cross Cultural Studies
4. Experience in ministry? 5 years part time
5. Favorite Bible Verse? 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if anyone is in Christ they are a new creation. The old has gone the new has come!
6. Favorite story/parable/concept/truth in the bible? Hope for broken people.
7. Who or what do you have a heart/passion for? Restoring distorted images of God through Christian education
8. The most amazing way God has used you? Empowering me through knowledge and giving my life purpose. Teaching moments, when young people/adults see God, life and circumstance in a new way, hopeful way.
9. What’s the hardest part about being a pastor? Lack of finances and public criticism.
10. What do you like to do on your free time? Socialize, sports, and movies.
11. What is your pet peeve? People who don’t listen.
12. What is something most people don’t know about you? I was a ‘wangster’ during my adolescence.
13. Your dreams/vision? (open-ended) repeat #7
14. One thing you’d like to do/experience before you die? Personal: have an honest conversation with my father about his absence during my childhood (never talked about it). Activity: Sky diving
15. One question you’d like to ask the 12 disciples and why? I guess to Peter and Paul and other people who died for their faith; did you know you were going to die and why do you think it was necessary (in hindsight)?
