Who We Are

MISSION STATEMENT
Korean American Christian Media is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that is dedicated to spreading the message of God's love and grace through online and television media. We aim to produce creative and thought-provoking content that genuinely serves the needs of Korean Americans today.  While highlighting churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals in the Korean community, KAC Media provides an internship and volunteer program, services, and jobs to empower and develop emerging young artists in the arts, film, and media.

It is our hope that with every story and with every effort, we bring people one step closer to God.

VISION
Redefining Culture Through Faith and Media

HISTORY
Korean American Christian Media began in April 2008 with two staff.  As a subdivision of JSTV and a Nonprofit 501c3 KAC Media was born in order to utilize the multi-media platform to create cutting-edge content and to serve the greater community.  Through an Intern and Volunteer Department that became the heart and soul of the subdivision the number of staff climbed to 40 and the volunteer hours reached 2,346 in its first 5 months.

KAC Media was selected to be a CEY (Communities Empowering Youth) Partner in 2008 as well.  With the first original TV program "Youth Connect" KAC Media acts as an advocate on behalf of at-risk youth in the Los Angeles areas.  While providing internships for high school and college students, KAC Media's Intern-to-Hire Policy has generated part-time positions for students and graduates.

In its 11 months, KAC Media reached internet ranking in the top 1.5%, received computer and equipment sponsorships from individuals, began a News Coverage Team, participated in a live radio show with Korean Gospel Broadcasting, was interviewed and featured in an article by The Korea Daily, partnered with businesses/organizations/individuals, hosted 250 attendees at their 1st Annual Banquet Launch on Nov.8, 2008, and is still moving forward.

Special thanks to the local pastors who have facilitated our Friday chapels - Daniel Ra,  Randy Choi,  Kyung Kang,  Gabe Ahn,  Joe Kim,  Jay Yoon,  J. Yi Lee,  Al Han,  Caleb Kim,  Joseph Ra,  Paul Lim,  and Yoon Chul Seo.

Thank you for sowing into KAC Media in its beginning stages.  We truly appreciate the time you take out to share and teach our staff and we truly enjoy your friendship as well.
