KAC Media's 1st Annual Fundraiser Banquet a Huge Success!Posted by Jean Lim in Untagged |

On Saturday, November 8th - KAC Media celebrated its official launch and inaugural fundraising banquet at Oxford Palace Hotel in Los Angeles. KAC Media staff prepared diligently for months to make sure that this 1st annual launch could be a successful one! All the hard work paid off as the event was packed to capacity with over 250 in attendance.
Pastor Lee, founder of JSTV kicked off the evening with his vision for the 2nd Generation Korean Americans to carry the torch - as it was finally becoming a reality after 20+ years of sowing into this very moment. Guests were treated to a delicious korean buffet dinner, special videos about www.kacmedia.org and presentations by the KAC News Team, Editing, Production, Leadership, and Public Relations Departments - along with raffles of special artwork and donations by our sponsor - Amore, and the melodic ballads of the accomplished hip hop group, Tatum Jones.
Keynote Speaker, James Sun - finalist of the Apprentice and CEO of zoodango.com opened with his background in business and consulting and expertise in the future of web 2.0 and how KAC Media is forging new ground with new media. Hyepin Im, CEO of Korean Churches for Community Development and active community advocate spoke to the importance of building community and relationships as Korean Americans. Accomplished Korean American writer, producer, and Director - Phillip Rhee rounded out the evening with an inspiring message of hard work, his faith and determination as an encouragement for all to be the 'Best of the Best' while pursuing wholeheartedly after God through prayer first.
The evening was filled with partner churches and organizations, friends and local business owners who were excited to share and cast the vision of KAC Media through their continued sponsorships and prayers. Production will resume and new shows and articles are being developed for the website and on airt. As we go forward - we know that all things are possible through the Lord and that through your generous support and prayers, we will continue to be salt and light to all of the world.
