CHRISTmas for KAC Media.

KAC Media had our first Christmas potluck on Friday, December 19. Many of out staff brought delicious food and desserts! Pastor Randy Choi and his ministry partner, Gihun, held a wonderful chapel too. Gihun led us with an amazing time of praise and worship...soon after Pastor Randy shared the word of God with the staff. It was such a blessing for us to get into the Word of God!

A wise nation gives thanks for its blessings, and through history our leaders have led the celebration of Thanksgiving. This clip could set a tone of humble reflection for Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Presidents Day, or other patriotic services. An emotive sermon illustration.

Triangle Complex Fire

Posted by Jennifer Yoo in Untagged

A brush fire that broke out in Corona Saturday morning spread to locations in Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills, forcing evacuations and destroying multiple structures. Hours later, the fire had spread to Carbon Canyon and Brea...just where our Samsung Presby. Church is located.

Our Senior Pastor was in Korea for a revival conference during the devastating fires in So. Cal. On the last night of the revival, he received a call from one of our elders informing him that our church is threatened by the fire. Pastor Shin was in shock and immediately began an intercessory prayer group in Korea.

Our 51 acre of land below the mountain, where we have fellowship and prayer, were damaged...but our church sanctuary and the offices were untouched. Thank God. The pastoral staff, who chose not to evacuate, stayed through the end along with the brave firefighters. "We needed to protect the church" said the pastors and elders.

Our congregation had our Sunday service at Westridge Golf Course Clubhouse. Hundreds gathered together and had a guest pastor share the word of God. Just before the guest pastor got up on the podium, the elder received a call from our Sr. Pastor. He was placed on the speaker phone along with a mic for all the congregation to hear. He was crying...he was encouraging us to stay strong...he was reminding us that God certainly was with us through the fires...and we sang a hymn together. I couldn't hold back my tears...it was truly evident that God was with us...and proved to me as well as everyone else that God is truly alive.

I will definitely continue to pray for all those who were affected by the fire...those in Sylmar as well as those in Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hill, Carbon Canyon, and Brea.
