Where did you grow up? What was life like for you growing up?
I was born in Pusan, Korea. I migrated with my family to the U.S when I was 2 years old. My biological father was a Korean movie star in the early 1960’s. My mother a dancer and actress. My bother and sister are both a part of the Hollywood scene in Los Angeles. I spent most my the early part of my life in growing up in Hawaii. I was a bit of rascal kid but always had an interest in the arts be it film making or music.

Mia Kim is a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter with roots in Philadelphia. Her sound is a fusion of quiet strength and personality with presence. While this new sound is still very much simple and sweet, sustained notes and growl keep the music alive with energy. |

Sarah Kim is another female artist whose emotions hit hard and steady to the beat of her guitar. She is serious about her music, but insists not to take her as too serious about herself. As seen on her YouTube videos, her songs speak of relationships that make deep impressions on her heart, yet she always manages to bring about her playful self into these presentations. |

Seriously is a band you want to know and the band that you probably already know. They’re the seemingly honest backyard band whose music you take seriously, hence the name. The reality of it, however, is that they take themselves seriously and maintain their integrity as musicians, but they’re not your average garage band. They’re that band that rocks smoothly and swoons their listeners with easy beats and steady melody. To put it plainly, they’re soulful with a hard edge. |
