Close your eyes. Picture this. Three soulful
voices coming at you in perfect harmony, contagious music that instantly moves
you to the rhythm of their beats, and seriously impressive beat boxing that'll
have you cheering for more. When you open your eyes, standing in front of you
are Hans Cho, Justin Fong and Michael Lee. Yes, these three Asian American
brothers have got the Hip Hop, You don't stop - and there's no denial: They're
really good at what they do. KAC Media first encountered Tatum Jones at the
Hip Hop night of the “LIVE” three part concert series at Young Nak Celebration
Church in Los Angeles.
They captivated the crowd with samples from debut EP
album titled, The Love Movement and their melodic acappella rendition of Refiner's Fire.
Before their official launch
as the group, 'Tatum Jones' - Hans, Justin, and Michael performed under their
former band name, 'At Last' on Television shows such as, 'America's Got
Talent', 'Showtime at the Apollo', and 'The Wayne Brady Show'. They have also
shared the stage with highly respected R&B, Hip Hop Artists such as Boyz II
Men, The Backstreet Boys and Justin Timberlake. Not bad for three Asian guys
from LA.
Since their release of 'The Love
Movement' they've continued to find themselves performing at venues all around
in front of enthusiastic crowds with singles such as 'Penny For Your
Thoughts', 'Who Is It', 'U Should Know', and 'Ain't No Sunshine' - the touching
tribute to their friend, Timmie Rogers, a.k.a. 'Tatum Jones' in which they
renamed their group in memory of. In a one on one interview with them, we got a
snapshot of their journey of faith alongside their personal growth in
music-making and breaking into the sometimes critical gaze of the music
industry. That didn't stop them from paying their dues while pursuing their
God-given talents - and frankly, these three have been turning critics into
fans from the moment they open their mouths (and leave many young girls
screaming, Oppah!).
KAC Media is proud to announce
that Tatum Jones will be the featured musical guest at our 1st Annual Banquet Fundraiser and Official launch,
coming November 8,
2008. Your tickets will be tax-deductible and proceeds will help go
toward the development
of future programs and workshops for KAC Media. You can not only help us
support the movement, but will also have the pleasure of taking in the rhythmic
melodies of Tatum Jones. For a list of Tatum Jones' upcoming performances,
