CLAMA (Christian Latino Association of Music and Arts) is an organization that brings extensive experience and educational backgrounds in the field of
professional music, production, publishing, music education and worship
in the evangelical Christian church setting as well as the
professional music industry.
After more than 30 years of ministry experience with numerous churches and communities in southern California, Joey and Nelson recognized the need to provide more effective instruction, mentoring and program development in meeting the needs of minority ministry and community outreach in the United States.
Utilizing music and the Arts as an effective tool in bridging the generational and cultural gaps, CLAMA has distinguished itself by providing valuable workshops, conferences, music schools and occupational and mentoring programs to churches and communities in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
Mission Statement: CLAMA is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to utilize music, arts and media communication technology in the advancement of the community by:
.: Empowering, organizing and promoting minority professional and aspiring talent within both the Christian and non-Christian communities
.: Providing educational forums and workshops for adults, children and youth (musical instruments, vocal training, digital recording, worship
seminars, etc.)
.: Teach, educate and encourage the artistic needs of children and youth through music, technology and the arts
.: Provide positive role-model programs and mentoring to at-risk and adjudicated youth via music and the arts.
Project RYTMO is a project founded in 2003 by CLAMA, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth who desire a career in music. Project RYTMO [Reaching Youth Through Music Opportunities]
is an after school music program designed to provide a positive,
creative and professional environment for underserved youth who
demonstrate musical, technical and/or business potential in the arts.
RYTMO offers courses from Introductory to Advance Courses involving with music and variety of Youth Services
