ImageName: Kevin Han

Dance Crew/Organization Name: s.O.d.c. (step off dance crew)

Who influences your style of dance?
I'm influenced by other dancers and ideas that circle in my head, all which i believe are inspired by Jesus (yes, even the creativity of non-Christian dancers i believe are influenced by God even though they may not use it for the purpose of glorifying him).  My influences come from individuals as well as teams that are in the competition circuit: Jed Florano (TM), Jun Quemado (TM), Tony Tran (kaba modern), Shaun Evaristo (the company, gen2), tetris, kris kehasukjaren, team millenia, pac modern, cadc, choreo cookies. . . the list goes on and on

What is the process of creating a choreography to a song?
first i pray: that my focus isn't on trying to impress anyone, and that my focus, even when i'm sucked into the moment, remains that i glorify God through my choreography and my teaching. . . then i pray some more for creativity and ideas.  i'll listen to the song and get a feel for it . . . it's really hard for me to like a choreography that i create to a song that i don't really feel  / / / i usually get a lot of my ideas listening to a song while i'm driving or sitting but some of my best ideas have come to me while im on the freeway (driving of course while listening to the radio or a cd) =)

*Click on image to Read More* Where do you get your inspiration?
my inspiration comes from knowing that my dancing isn't being used to just fulfill my own goals and dreams but that they may be used to transform someone's life and bring them closer in relationship to God

How does your dancing tie into your faith with God?
my dance is my living sacrifice to God, with the talents he has given me i want to use it to bring others into a closer relationship to God whether it's through teaching or just a celebration through dance

What songs are on repeat in your music player?
i don't really like to have music on repeat unless i'm choreographing but right now i'm listening to the Moulin Rouge soundtrack in my car

Have you ever thought about trying out for America's Best Dance Crew? yes i have

Items in your closet: t-shirts, jackets, sweaters, jeans, shoes, and car parts

Favorite Clothing Store: attic
