What a joy divine to know the awesome presence of our omnipresent and everlasting Father!  With all things, I am learning that my devotion to our Lord and Savior has an earthy dominance that draws me to him everyday... that is, where the root of all beginnings of my saving faith has brought me to see my self and life for what it truly is capable of, and what I am truly able to do... Understand that he is accepting of faults through and through. Blemishes and scars stagnate from crevice therein, Shown through our denial and more by our sin, by our every burn that glows with hue, is but a memory safe of roads travelled through and through.

What a joy divine~ Such are sweet words that flow from the pages of long ago.

It is great to find fellowship, even from the miles that separate us by distance, I find a great assurance that even in my most rediculous moment of thought, He resides with us.  It is the eve of the eve, to the most anticipated time of our year, when things are surrounded by moments of reflection, at the joys, sorrows, and memories given to us as a sign of a prosperous year passed.  The wonderment of the uncertainty granted at the starting stage of each semester passed, and the excitement of awards granted from a few months time of hard work pressed, gives me an astounding curiosity as to how this next year will unfold.

For the hope of creating a year for the Lord, I am thankful. For the moment of reflection reminisced, I am thankful.

God be praised! Amen~ Happy New Year's !!!!

The weather here today was a bit gloomy. Rain, cold wet weather, skies downcast, that sorta "HULLABALLOO" day. Which reminds me, I learn a whole lotta wierd terms as a mom. Watching reruns of Thomas the Tank Engine, and The new adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and even Wiggles...

Funny odd words by little kids.

We went thru the "Squankee" stage, and endless hours of "thaaas" from the terrible two's stage with both kids. For those that don't know, Thaas is short for Thomas, the cheeky little engine.  =)

There are other words we are working on, with our two year old.

hang ah, or hyung - ah, or his nickname for is older brother, bip for phillip. Eemo's name went from Neemo (first child) , to Elmo (second child).

thankfulness

So, I started thinking to myself, what is it that makes me lurk back and question my capabilities as an adult. I think for the majority of my youth, I have always been labeled to do well on a musical note, but intellectually, I always limited myself to being a masked nerd. I hung out with the asian crowd, but broke away after college, and now, I am experiencing that all things can indeed be accomplished with perserverence, and the will to try.

Who cares if my classmates are younger, brighter, more intellectually refreshed than me?! I have heard this line in my head a few times right before classes start, but it is during those moments right before exams that sway much of my optimism.

I am truly thankful for the way God has shown me, the lineage of greatness available to see before my eyes, in the way hope is established in a grandfather, thru his child, and then thru his grandchild. What a joy divine to experience first hand, that not everything is lost forever, and when there is a will, there truly is a way to finding success.

For the amount of patience you give me Lord, for the perserverence to see thru my intellectual trials in my age, I thank you.

Whoo Hoo, it feels good to be old! Praise God! =0)

There is a hope which permeates within our souls. It first starts out as a wayward droplet, and as time and experience weather the road, a trickle illuminates into a gentle stream, and ultimately a mighty river emerges from within all of us.   Hope, determination, and the will to move forward encircle these precocious humble beginnings in our ever preserved youth.  I have felt the mighty winds graze the face of my innocence, and through it all, I come to  experience a new revival, an unyielding joy abounds, releasing, refreshing, encompassing my dreams of future prosperity with greater hope for a happier tomorrow.

Trials and Tribulations

True hardships come when everything seems to be rolling along just fine. The world around you becomes instantly abrupt, chaotic, and it is then, when loneliness and despair  seems to inch its way closer to all means of hope and transforms itself and clings to you as a parasite, gnawing away at your circle of good you cherish so much.

thankfulness

Through all things that occur, I lift and offer to you my life, my everything.

Although I lack a great many things, I know that all things will be granted to me if I ask you sincerely.  For the wisdom that spans the heavens comes from you, and only you.  I pray that even in my comings and goings I do not forget to seek your grace, your counsel and your mercy~to safely guide my passage through yet another laborious day, and even in the moments of safe passage  by thought or actions, you will keep me safe and in your care.

For the great and many things about to come, I thank you, for the wisdom to turn to you and say thank you in the midst of joys and sorrows, for the obstacles I must meet ahead, I thank you, and for the many memories which will come, I thank you.
