A ten-member team consisting of Baptist church members from Idaho, has been arrested this past Saturday amidst their efforts to rescue orphans in Haiti. The team was in Haiti as a part of the “Haitian orphan rescue mission,” when they were arrested due to the lack of proper documentation as they attempted to bus 33 children across the border. The children, ranging from 2 months to 12 years, were on their way to a shelter in the Dominican Republic to be cared for. Original article.
