// U.K. Worship Leader to Tweet Bible Chapter by Chapter
Chris Juby, a U.K. worship leader, set out on a three-year journey to tweet the entire Bible – one chapter at a time. He began tweeting August 8 and is scheduled to complete his undertaking in November 2013. Each day, he paraphrases a chapter of the Bible into less than 140 characters. He admits that his summaries cannot substitute for the real thing, but hopes that his tweets would “inspire people to read the Bible for themselves.” Original article.

A survey conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life found that a growing number of Americans believe that President Obama is Muslim, and only a third are able to correctly identify his religion. While most Republicans think Obama is Muslim the number of independents who believe he is Muslim has expanded significantly, from 10 percent last year to 18 percent now. Glen Coffee, a San Francisco 49er running back decided to end his professional football career after having played only one season. His reason was not the result of an injury, but because of his faith. Coffee, explains, "His (Christ’s) will, I felt, wasn't football,” and he said a long time ago, Christ had told him, “to walk away from the game.” Coffee plans to go back to school to get an undergraduate degree. These incidences only aid to remind the world of Open Door’s ranking of North Korea as the “world’s worst persecutor of Christians.” A Christian in North Korea is considered a high-profile criminal, as tens of thousands of Christians are in infamous prison labor camps.
