An Alarming Epidemic: Human Trafficking Part 1
Prostitution, pornography, and working in strip clubs or massage parlors are all considered to be different forms of sex trafficking.  The statistics are staggering:  80% of victims are women, 50% are children (average age: 14).  Victims face drugging, rape, forced abortions and sex up to 20 times a day.  The consequences to their minds, bodies and spirits are dire-- yet sex trafficking is the fastest growing crime in the world.  In Part 1, Charity Marquis from NightLight USA and Sharon Ngai from Strike LA shed more light into this disturbing epidemic.
