“How was it?”

That was the first question everyone asked me the first time I came back from my missions trip. It was difficult to answer then, and writing this blog, I find it difficult it answer it now. In a few words, that is. I will say that my first missions experience was very positive. It was challenging in so many ways, yes, and I struggled everyday through it. But it wasn’t until I came back from it that I realized how much I loved spending every moment of my days completely dependent on God.

It is 7:45 p.m. on a Sunday evening. I'm sitting here torn between eye shopping on urbanoutfitters.com and writing my paper. I'm not sure if this is the appropriate subject matter to be blogging about on my first entry, but it is what feels right at this moment. But who am I kidding? I'm procrastinating. I'm working against all odds to put off the agony of writing this analytical essay on women stereotypes in self-help books and (excuse me) pornography. Strange topic, I know, but it's the subject of feminism that I know enough about to hopefully write a thorough paper.
