Temptation

Posted by Andy Han in Untagged

It's true that you are only tempted when presented with an alternative to your goal.

What better example is there than...

The Wall of Temptation!

wall of fitness goals and fast food coupons

Looks like someone gave in to the Yoshinoya! Tsk Tsk...

P90X - My experience

Posted by Wonho Frank Lee in Untagged

Wonho Frank Lee

Back in 2007 fall, I reached 200lb and told myself that I needed big changes.

One of the thing I needed was a workout program. I saw P90X on TV many times before and I just felt like trying it out.

Result? well.. it was great. I was able to lose 15lb in 6 weeks. gained muscles and felt great.

P90X is a great program if you stick to it... like any other program.

see, P90X isn't anything amazing or special. but the program itself really pushes you and asks a lot from you.. taking it to p90Xtreme.

P90X: Bring it on!

Posted by Andy Han in Untagged

Started P90X 2 weeks ago.

If you want a serious workout, you've got one with these dvds.

I've never felt so old physically in my life! But it's NOT even AGE!

Tony Horton the trainer is like 45 in this DVD, which means by now he's closer to 50. I'm 27 turning 28 this year!

Shame on ME! haha.

Anyways. I hope the next 10 weeks will prove that a guys that spends 80% of his waking life in front of a computer can still be healthy.

My thought about Fitness Challenge

Posted by Wonho Frank Lee in Untagged

You might be puzzled about this post since I am not participating this challenge.

But I just wish Good Luck to yall. Everytime you guys work out, excercise, fight the temptation from eating crazy food, or being drawing into the "SABOTAGE!", I hope that you guys will pray and depend on God for success.

Day 3: Whoever Invented Soccer Is Mean

Good Deed: Played Soccer with kids a couple decades younger than me

Bad Deed: Had a big bowl of Vanilla Ice Cream with Warm Berries… ooh la la!

Being the procrastinator that I am, I woke up at 1045am for my 11am lunch with my godfather, Steve.  We had some pho and I drove an hour to Oxnard, CA to kick it with my buddy, Jacob Reeve.  He helps to run an after school program for at-risk kids.

Jacob asked me if I wanted to play soccer with the kids and even though the last time I played was as a 10 year old, I said, “Sure!”  I’m an expert goalie (anything to get out of running) and I need to do some type of physical exercise to write about in this fitness challenge.  See how devoted I am, KAC?  :)

Day 1: The LA Arboretum

Posted by jcbeloved in Untagged

Good Deed: 2 mile walk around the LA County Arboretum

Bad Deed: Immediately celebrated my good deed by rewarding myself w/ Yogurtland (Hey, it was really hot outside!)

How I Made Up for the Bad Deed: No dessert after dinner

I started off my 1st day on this 90 Day KAC Fitness Challenge polishing off the leftovers in the fridge to prepare for my conversion to ultra-healthy consumption.  I woke up and ate my leftover combo of spaghetti sauce and rice.  I don’t recommend it.  :P
