MONDAY
Although short, our trip was very effective. Our first day, we arrived to a warm greeting by missionary Matthew Jun. He informed us of the country's politics, class system, corruption, climate, etc. Hearing all that made me think, why he would want to live here to begin with. In Nicaragua, there is no middle class. So you're either rich or poor. The stores and villages we all saw looked poor. But the somewhat decent looking ones made me think that that was their "rich" Three days later would I realize that I was completely wrong.
