Final Draft & Screenwriting 101 Workshop

July 29, 2008 – A Screenwriting and Final Draft workshop was presented to KAC Media.  The staff was introduced to Final Draft, an industry standard software used by TV and film screenwriters.  Led by Myron Kim, screenwriter for such films as The Motel Room, Shotgun, The Debt, and The Cure, the KAC Media staff also had hands on experience practicing from an excerpt from a feature film.  95% of the staff at KAC Media have never experienced screenwriting before but Myron creatively and enthusiastically broke the ice for them.  The formats and concepts were broken down through analogies and examples in such a way that it was quickly grasped so that the staff could get their own creative juices flowing.
