| What is KAC Media?
KAC Media stands for Korean American Christian Media. KAC Media is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and a subdivision of JSTV. KAC Media is a Dish Network Satellite Channel 668, which is live streaming online, and web-based organization. www.kacmedia.org We exist to bring into the spotlight those in the Korean American Christian community, especially those in the 1.5, 2nd, and 3rd generations. We exist to create TV Shows, an online social networking platform, Music Profiles and Videos, News, Articles, Reviews, Photo Galleries, Resources, Films, and to cover community, Christian, and national events. We provide high school students to young adults opportunities to Intern and Volunteer in the areas of the Arts, Film, Media, and Business. Options for School Credit, Portfolio Building, Experience, Hours, and Intern-to-Hire are available at KAC Media. KAC Media provides Workshops for those seeking training in the areas of multi-media and business. Previous workshops include: News and Broadcasting, Screenwriting 101, Sound Engineering, and Acting 101. All workshops are recorded for future interns to learn and grow in their skills, and will soon be available online as well. Future Workshops include Hip Hip 101, 3-D Animation, Video Editing, Hosting and Interviewing 101, and Leadership Development. Our target audience is reaching the unchurched and churched and more specifically, the Korean Americans who are questioning their faith and have left the church by high school and/or college graduation.
