To add friends or "Make Connections", go to the profile page of a Member you'd like to be friends with and go to "Connections" and click on "Request Connection". The Member will get a notification and will need to confirm your request so you can be friends.  When the confirmation is made, you will get a message in your inbox.

If another Member has requested to make a connection with you, you will receive a message in your inbox.  Confirm the request by clicking on the link and the connection between you two will be made!
